A lively crowd of two dozen attended the event sponsored by the
Freedom Bears of Philly.

At the Chelsea (Manhattan) branch of Barnes & Noble,
Ron read to an audience of more than 50 people. The event,
sponsored by MetroBears NY, was followed by a reception at Ty's.
Before the reading, Ron surveys the crowd with Dan Prince, president
of the Georgia Literary Association and MBNY memBEAR.

New Orleans, Louisiana
On Friday night, August 30, Ron read to a group of hungry
bears before a dinner at Mama Leone's restaurant in the French
Quarter.
The evening also featured the Sire Ursus contest, for which
Ron served as a judge, as part of the New Orleans Bear club's
Southern (Bear) Decadence festivities.
